New dive industry survey results & insights.

We hope this message finds you well and we thank you for being our dive business buddy!

It was part of our New Year’s resolutions! We want to generate and provide more actionable data & insights into the dive industry. At all times, you can find shortcuts to ongoing surveys & results from past surveys, here.

Our focus is currently on the quality of the experience provided by the dive industry, and how our business model needs to evolve to adapt to today’s consumers. Please take part in the following three ongoing studies.

  • Dive Training Agencies: Brand Awareness & Loyalty
  • Evaluating the Quality of Open Water Courses & Discover Scuba Diving Experiences
  • Dive Industry Business Model & Practices

Otherwise, we continued our collaboration with InDepth magazine following the success of our study on the “economics” of being a dive instructor.

  1. Results now available: Panicking & Scuba Diving.
  2. New: Am I a Bad Apple? A self-assessment and introspection by scuba diving instructors.

Finally, we analyzed the number of entry-level certifications for the first two years of the pandemic, including the full year of 2021.
